Ms. Hutchens previously worked as an occupational therapist and practiced in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, schools and long-term care facilities. She set up departments, supervised staff, taught college courses and surveyed facilities for compliance with regulations. Her practice has thoroughly prepared her to be a caregiver and to share her experiences with others. Ms. Hutchens, who holds a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy, maintains affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc.
