Peter Forbes is the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross

DOVER, DE, May 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Peter J. Forbes Jr., retired Lieutenant, Corrections Supervisor for the Delaware Department of Correction, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in law enforcement.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Forbes worked as a Lieutenant, Corrections Supervisor for the Delaware Department of Correction for 15 years. Before that, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years. For his service, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal, the Distinguished Flying Cross and nine Air Medals for his service in Vietnam.

Mr. Forbes received a Bachelor of Arts from Wilmington University. He is a member of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware, Free & Accept Masons, and Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine, Inc. and volunteers with Shriners International's fraternity and youth mentoring program.
