Cindy L. Malloy Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Cindy Malloy made a career change from human resources to paralegal

BARSTOW, CA, May 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ms. Cindy L. Malloy, Paralegal for the Marine Corps Logistics Command, Office of General Counsel, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.

After 20 years of experience working in human resources, Ms. Malloy transitioned into the field of law. Since 2007, she has been a paralegal for the Office of General Counsel working at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, CA. Ms. Malloy is responsible for conducting research on case law, verifying the case law used in certain motions, responding to discovery documents, and maintaining the deadlines for equal employment opportunity cases, as well as federal litigation. She also handles legal reports for Headquarters Marine Corps, the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, and the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, Ga.

Ms. Malloy attributes her success to her continued education, stubbornness and pride in what she does. A graduate of Kaplan University, she received a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, with an emphasis in employment law in 2010. In her spare time, Ms. Malloy lends her services and resources to the Bishops Warden at her local church, and to her local pregnancy center and humane society. Looking ahead, she aspires to explore pro bono opportunities for animal charities.
