Retired Sheriff Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ronald D. McNiel to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his outstanding work in the Law Enforcement Industry.
GRAND PRAIRIE, TX, February 6, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Ronald D. McNiel to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his outstanding work in the Law Enforcement Industry. As a retired Sheriff with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department, as well as throughout his incredible 30 plus year career, Mr. McNiel consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Over the course of his impressive law enforcement career, Ronald exceled in the areas of protecting citizens, industrial security, hotel security, and private investigations. He was also served with the United States Air Force Security Police. His success was due to the excellent training he received and the mentors who supported him in the law enforcement and criminal justice systems throughout the years.
Ronald became a member of the American Society for Industrial Security in 1977. He was the recipient of numerous awards for outstanding achievement during his career. In 1980, he received a Certificate of Commendation from the National Guard for his work in the High Firing Tank Crew. Mr. McNiel was named the U.S. Air Force Policeman of the Year in 1982. In 1987, he received a Letter of Recommendation from the Dallas Police Department for assisting in the capture of four fleeing felons. Ronald also received a Certificate of Merit and an Officer of the Year award from the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.
