Cambridge Who's Who Names Clarence D. Johnson Executive of the Year in Information Technology

Johnson, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Army and Intelligence Sector of NCI Information Systems, Inc., has been has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Executive of the Year in Information Technology. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership. Mr. Johnson has also been selected for inclusion in Cambridge Publishing's "Top 101 Industry Experts" book and a forthcoming issue of Pro-Files Magazine.

As an executive vice president and general manager at NCI Information Systems, Inc., Mr. Johnson oversees information operations and offers IT support as needed. He attributes his success to his experience in the U.S. Army, which set the stage for what he is currently doing, and finds it particularly gratifying to be able to further the mission of soldiers who are serving in the Army today. Throughout his 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Johnson has consistently demonstrated his ability to cut through the complexity of day-to-day operations and focus on problem resolution. Since joining NCI in 2002, he has also been instrumental in the management of numerous multiyear government contracts.

Mr. Johnson holds a Master of Science in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at National Defense University in 1998. In addition, he is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Virginia Union University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and government in 1976. Mr. Johnson's current professional memberships include the Industry Advisory Council of the American Council for Technology, AFCEA International, AUSA, the U.S. Army Ordinance Corps Association, and the National Defense Industrial Association.
