Christopher Bassett Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Military Support Services

Willernie, MN, October 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christopher Bassett, Senior Human Resources Sergeant for the Army National Guard, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in military support services.
Crediting his success to his continuous learning of cultures, teams, and organizational concepts, Mr. Bassett has gained 20 years of experience in the military, spending the last 12 as a senior human resources sergeant for the Army National Guard. Certified in change management, project management and IT and business transformation, he currently manages personnel actions for traditional and active duty personnel. His passion for mentoring soldiers and civilians in the achievements of their goals in evident in all that he does.
Mr. Bassett previously served as an Armored Crewman in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In recognition of his service to his country, he received the Army Commendation Medal (2008-2009) for training more than 300 soldiers on the Personnel Services Delivery Redesign concept, a decentralized process of processing administrative actions for soldiers; a Meritorious Service Medal (2006-2008) for providing training, logistics, and administrative oversight to a military organization; a Meritorious Service Medal (2004-2006) for providing medical support and coordinating with medical facilities outside of Minnesota to ensure a medical rating of 95% of medically deployable soldiers; three Army Commendation Medals, and three Army Achievement Medals.
Mr. Bassett earned a Master of Science in Management in 2009 and is pursuing a doctorate of management degree in organizational development and change. He volunteers with the Yellow Ribbon Program and dedicates his time to helping the family members of deployed soldiers as well as civilian organizations. In the coming years, Mr. Bassett will be working as a consultant for organizations. He also plans to learn about Search and Future Search Conferences to improve organizational learning, ideal seeking, and setting, planning and obtaining strategic goals.
