George Bertalotto Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
George Bertalotto specializes in geriatric nursing

Napa, CA, September 7, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- George Bertalotto, Shift Lead Registered Nurse for the Veterans Home of California, Yountville, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

Mr. Bertalotto has 31 of overall professional experience and has been with the Veterans Home of California for 24 years, at various levels of care including: acute care, alzheimers unit and currently intermediate level of care. As a shift lead Registered Nurse he is responsible for the care of veterans and organizing the support staff. Prior to his current position he served as a medic in the U.S. Army for 3 years on active duty and 8 years in the reserves before being honorable discharged after Desert Storm. Additionally Mr. Bertalotto has volunteered for the Napa County Sheriffs Search and Rescue team, and with Clinic Ole'. Mr. Bertalotto was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2008 and is currently involved in clinical trials with the Parkinson's Institute in Sunnyvale, CA.

Mr. Bertalotto received his Associate Degree in Nursing from Napa Valley College in 1992 and attributes his success to support and encouragement from family and colleagues.
