Company President Surges Into The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dennis M. Corrigan to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent work in the Government Services Industry.

ARLINGTON, VA, September 12, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Dennis M. Corrigan to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent work in the Government Services Industry. As President of L-3/D.P. Associates Inc. (DPA) he has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

L-3/D.P. Associates is part of L-3 Services Group, a $4.6B component of L-3 Communications, which is a prime contractor in command, control and communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, government services, aircraft modernization and maintenance, and has the broadest base of electronic systems in the industry. They are also a major provider of homeland defense products and services for a variety of emerging markets.

L-3/D.P. Associates is a technical services organization with a primary focus on leading-edge training systems analysis, design, development and implementation. They provide training products for every aircraft in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Corrigan is in charge of strategic planning as well as leading the mission of the operations with a comprehensive technical knowledge and a strong professional team. Recently, Mr. Corrigan has also been dual-hatted as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of MPRI's Training Systems Group which brings together all of the courseware technology of DPA with the commercial/Government focused simulator development of MPRI's Simulation Group. This group combined has an annual sales volume of over $135M.

One of Mr. Corrigan's greatest achievements was leading the upgrade of survival training devices for the US Navy and Marine Corps, an effort aimed at saving lives when the worst conditions occurred. He and the President of the partner company he worked with, Survival Systems of Nova Scotia, Canada, were awarded the Canadian-American Business Achievement Award. Mr. Corrigan is a leader who looks for the right people to empower and fulfill the vision he creates within his group. His knowledge of systems, processes and procedures and his focus on providing products and services that are predictable and repeatable have made the organizations he leads successful.

After 24 years in the Navy as an Aviator, he intended, like many of his peers, to enter the airlines and fill an expanding gap created by commercial pilots forced into retirement. Instead, a visionary in the aviation training field asked him one question, "would he prefer to use his expertise in acquisition for the Department of the Navy to continue to provide training to the young men and women who would be following in his footsteps?" The alternative of just flying from Point A to Point B and staying in hotels away from his family made that a simple decision.

During his educational career, Dennis graduated from the NROTC Program at Auburn University in 1974 with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. He also earned a Master's degree from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He served for 24 years in the U.S. Navy as a P-3 Aviator and Acquisition Professional, retiring in 1998 as a Captain.
