Roger A. Tavarez works to establish his own human services business

PORTLAND, OR, August 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roger A. Tavarez, Security Lead for the United States Department of Homeland Security, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in homeland security services.

A security lead for the United States Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Tavarez specializes in human services. He assists a team of professionals in organizing and securing checkpoints, and ensures passenger safety at airports.

Mr. Tavarez received his Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, with a concentration in Graphic Design, from Mt. Hood Community College in 1982. Currently, he is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Human Services. He attributes his success to his upbringing and integrity. In the future, he would like to pursue a master's degree in human services, and establish a human services business for veterans and their families.
