Merton Howe Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Merton Howe seeks to hasten communication between countries with regards to healthcare, finance and education

KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC, August 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Merton Howe has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in international cooperation.

Retired professor of humanity and cultural classes, Mr. Howe has been a volunteer information expert for the National Institute for Occupational Health and Poison Control (NIOHPC). This organization is involved with gathering information on the negative side effects of toxins on migrant women workers and their children. Governed by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, NIOHPC collaborates with such groups as the World Health Organization.

From 1966 through 1968, Mr. Howe served in the United States Army. He achieved the Cross of Valour for Military Service in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In 1971, he obtained a Master's Degree in Junior College Teaching, an educational administration degree. This was followed by about 60 additional credits, earned collectively from Glassboro and Temple University.

In the fall of 2010, Mr. Howe will be meeting with educational leaders in China to coordinate a student exchange program with the United States. He aims to help these two countries work together on a variety of levels, including the fields of research, finance, public health and education.
