Cambridge Publishing Names Merle M. Wygal Professional of the Year Representing Medical Administrative Support

Wygal, Owner and Vice President of KMB Enterprises, Inc., has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Medical Administrative Support. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.

With unparalleled expertise in the medical field, Merle M. Wygal parlays over 62 years of experience into his executive position at KMB Enterprises, Inc. He began his career with the United States Air Force, during which time he served as a lab technician and a physician assistant - charges that required he handle emergencies at radar stations in the absence of a medical doctor. Later, he became involved in medical administration in the office of the Chief Nursing Officer. In total, Mr. Wygal dedicated 24 years of his professional career to the service before retiring as an E9 Medical Service Superintendent.

Specialized in human relations, especially with regard to the medical field, Mr. Wygal established KMB Enterprises, Inc. in 1997. A privately held company, KMB Enterprises offers assistance with billing and coding. As the Owner and VP of the firm, Mr. Wygal utilizes his extensive industry know-how to bill patient claims to insurance companies, post payments to patient accounts, rectify disputes between patients and insurance companies, and interpret and assign codes to medical claims based on doctors' findings.

During an exclusive interview with a representative from Cambridge Publishing, Mr. Wygal noted that an interest in chemistry inspired him to become involved in the medical field. He attributes the success he has enjoyed to hard work and unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality billing and coding services available.

Mr. Wygal holds a bachelor of science in health service administration from the University of Arizona, earned in 1974. He is a lifetime member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the American Legion, as well as the President's Club of the University of Arizona. Away from work, Mr. Wygal enjoys fishing and spending time with his eight grandchildren.
