As the President of Progressive Periodontics, as well as throughout her brilliant 30 plus year professional career, she has consistently performed at an outstanding level while displaying the leadership, professionalism and dedication necessary to stand among the elite.

Dr. Russell has ascended to the top of her field through her diligent determination as well as the demonstration of her exceptional work ethic, combined with her extensive knowledge and magnificent management skills. She is well respected in the field of dentistry, holding affiliations with the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Academy, Georgia Dental Association, North Georgia Dental Society, South Metro Study Club, Thinman Dental Society of Atlanta and Georgia Society of Periodontology.

Dr. Russell earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Hygiene and Dental from the Medical College of Georgia as well as a Master's Degree from George Washington University. She completed her Periodontal Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and retired from the United States Army having earned the highly coveted Legion of Merit Medal.
