Kimberly M. Baker Recognized for Excellence in Program Management
Kimberly M. Baker is pursuing a master's degree from Webster University
JACKSONVILLE, FL, June 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kimberly M. Baker, Program Coordinator for Florida State College at Jacksonville, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in program management.
Having served in the United States Navy for 20 years, Ms. Baker is an E-6 retired disabled veteran. She now works for Florida State College at Jacksonville, coordinating programs for returning Iraq and Afghanistan veterans between the ages of 20 and 24 years old. Ms. Baker performs counseling to aid in the transition from a military to civilian life, and advises faculty on students' educational needs. She also assists students in navigating degree requirements and planning. She attributes her success to her dedication, determination and the support she receives from her family.
Ms. Baker is pursuing a Master's Degree from Webster University, majoring in Human Resource and Leadership Management. In 2008, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University. In the future, Ms. Baker hopes to further her education and obtain a degree in counseling.
