Debra S. Lewis Distinguished for Contributions to the United States Department of Defense
Debra S. Lewis celebrates 24 years with the Department of Defense
FT. MEADE, MD, June 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Debra S. Lewis who is currently an Inventory Specialist with the United States Department of Defense assigned to the National Cytological Museum has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense services.
Driven by her perseverant, never-give-up attitude, Debra S. Lewis became professionally involved in the field of law enforcement 24 years ago. She has dedicated the majority of her career to the National Security Agency Police Force, where she served as a lieutenant for the past six years. During her leadership, Ms. Lewis was tasked with supervising a shift of 40 plus officers, administrative and managerial functions, and providing physical security measures for the agency.
Ms. Lewis is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Management in Organizational Behavior through the University of Phoenix. In 2008, she graduated from Kaplan University, summa cum laude, with a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Global Issues; in 1992, she graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
Ms. Lewis is an affiliate of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Military Police Regimental Association, and the Golden Key International Honour Society. She is also an active supporter of MVETS, the National Vietnams Veterans Foundation, ASPCA, HSUS, Purple Heart Foundation, Kids Wish Foundation, NWF, and Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Foundation.
