Shelly G. Houska's career as the Enrichment Coordinator enables her to provide a plethora of opportunities

GRESHAM, OR, March 1, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shelly G. Houska, Enrichment Coordinator of Parkrose Chateau and retired U.S. Coast Guard Chief Food Service Specialist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in directing, organizing, and facilitating military Food Service Dining Facilities and Resident Enrichment Program for a senior population.

As the Enrichment Coordinator of Parkrose Chateau, Shelly G. Houska is responsible for ensuring a program that is designed and conducted in a positive manner in which the residents can maintain and develop their fullest potential for an independent lifestyle. She became involved in her profession because of her passion to help people and to maintain their independence in the later years of life. She attributes her success to her ability to set and complete her short and long-term goals.

Ms. Houska received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Management through the University of Phoenix in 2009.

She is a member of the National Chief Petty Officers Association.
