Danny D. Bynum Has Published Two Novels and is Working on his Third

ELDRIDGE, IA, March 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Danny D. Bynum, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.

Danny D. Bynum embarked on a second career in letters after concluding a fruitful 31 years in military service. A former member of the U.S. Air Force and the Department of the Army, he served as an air policeman at Edwards Air Force Base in southern California and received a Certificate of Appreciation for providing security to President L.B. Johnson during a visit there. In 27 years with the Department of the Army, Mr. Bynum garnered 23 citations, including monetary awards and commendation for his participation in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He also functioned in a Joint Service position, strategically storing munitions, conducting inventories and briefings, and searching for items in short supply.

Finally free to pursue his lifelong passion for writing, Mr. Bynum has completed four novels, two of which have been published. The recipient of a certification in romance writing from American Writers & Artists, Inc., he focused his most recent work on a set of triplet sisters, their loves, heartaches and coming of age. Additional affiliations include the Midwest Writing Center, The Democratic Party, and The American Legion, of which he has been a member these last 26 years. Mr. Bynum, who has been honored by the governor of Iowa for literature and by the Lions Club of Eldridge with a plaque for excellence in creative writing, looks forward to authoring more novels.
