John M. Boilard has over 24 years of experience in the Safety & Health Field and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Industrial Hygiene and Health & Safety

WESTBROOK, ME, December 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John M. Boilard, Operations Manager of Northeast Test Consultants, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in industrial hygiene.

Mr. Boilard has been employed by Northeast Test Consultants since 1994 in the positions of Field Technician, Technical Representative, Project Manager, and his present position of Operations Manager. He previously was employed by the U.S. Department of Defense (D.O.D.), Department of Navy as a Physical Science Technician (PST) in the Radiological Control Division (Code 105) and as a Metals Inspector in the Non-Destructive Testing Department (Code 135) at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

Mr. Boilard has extensive experience in OSHA regulatory requirements, asbestos surveys, hazard recognition, hazardous material labeling, emergency response procedures, and contamination control techniques. Other education and experiences relate to mechanical drafting, architectural design & drafting, general building construction, metallurgy, health & safety, and industrial hygiene assessment & sampling. Mr. Boilard, while employed by the D.O.D., was a registered emergency responder with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA).

Mr. Boilard has over 24 years of experience in the Safety & Health Field and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of Industrial Hygiene and Health & Safety. His present position with Northeast Test Consultants is in the management of operations for NTC, as well as continuing to serve as Project Manager at the SAPPI Fine Paper of North America Paper Mills, located in Westbrook and Skowhegan, Maine. His responsibilities in this position include scheduling of field personnel, supervision of abatement and remediation projects, development of sampling strategies for Industrial Hygiene testing programs, and liaison with SAPPI management and personnel. Mr. Boilard is also the Radiation Safety Office (RSO) for NTC's XRF Lead Testing Program.

Mr. Boilard is a Registered Industrial Hygiene Technologist (RIHT) with the Association of Profession Industrial Hygienists (APIH), APIH Registration #10030410. He is certified by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection as a Design Consultant; Asbestos/AHERA Inspector; Air Monitor; and NIOSH 582 Air Analyst. He also serves as an instructor for various training courses provided through Northeast Test Consultants Environmental Training Center (NTC-ETC). Mr. Boilard has attended various continuing education courses such as Indoor Air Quality and Health & Safety training continuing education courses provided by the Maine Indoor Air Quality Council, Indoor Air Quality Council, etc. He attributes his success to his personal drive and quest for ongoing knowledge.
