During his 27 year career in the Navy, he was given numerous executive level assignments including Head of Department, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief of Staff Operations. Mr. Gerbrecht also has experience managing multi-disciplinary teams involved in operations, training, project management, and systems implementation initiatives.

During his educational career, Rick graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business. Among the honors he has received are five service and campaign medals and two letters of commendation for project management in partnership with defense contractors. Mr. Gerbrecht has also received consistent excellent yearly evaluations as a senior manager. In 2009, Rick published work regarding the United States/Canadian border relationship.
