DALLAS, TX, December 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mr. Andrew Salcido, Director of Operations for Digital Realty Trust, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in procedural development.

After serving in the United States Army for four years as an E-5, Mr. Salcido became involved in his profession. He has 23 years of professional experience, including six years of experience in his current position. As Digital Realty Trust's director of operations, Mr. Salcido oversees the mechanical and electrical aspects for all data facilities in his region, including preventive maintenance, construction projects, as well as cost and budget analysis. He also negotiates contracts, and maintains staffing levels for sites covering the central United States.

He attributes his success to continually learning and keeping up with industry trends. Mr. Salcido completed college coursework in electronics and earned a high school diploma. As a licensed class B mechanical contractor and an electrical journeyman, he is a member of ASHREA. In the future, Mr. Salcido intends to complete a bachelor's degree and move into an upper management position.
