New San Antonio Church Offers Free Video Messages For Military Families at Shrine Auditorium
Pastor Kurt Hudspeth of Four Winds Bible Church announced today that the San Antonio church is offering free video messages for military families who have loved ones serving overseas.

SAN ANTONIO, TX, November 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pastor Kurt Hudspeth of Four Winds Bible Church announced today that the San Antonio church is offering free video messages for military families who have loved ones serving overseas.

There is no cost for families to have a short video message filmed at the church and delivered to service men and women who are away from their families over the holidays. Hudspeth says this is a way for the church to say thank you to the men and women sacrificing time with their families to serve their country.

"At Four Winds Bible Church in San Antonio, we really value our military men and women and the sacrifices they make, so it is really our honor to provide them with this small thank you."

He says the idea started off as way to help a member of the new church, which just started meeting in the Shrine Auditorium every Sunday at 11:00 am, to express to her husband overeas how much she loved him. The church's Audio and Visual Director Mark Thomas and Phyxius Productions shot the video and professionally edited it into a moving 30 second message.

"After we finished the first video, my mind was just racing with the possibility of opening this up to the entire San Antonio community for free, and that's what we decided to do. We're calling it Operation Hear Us and See Us for the Holidays."

The free video messages will be recorded each Sunday after the morning services from Thanksgiving weekend up until Christmas weekend. He says he's particularly excited about the opportunity to do this over Thanksgiving, since many people have extended family members visiting in town who could be part of the video.

Hudspeth says the project could easily turn into much more than just a local San Antonio event.

"I have tried a couple of times to get other churches to take this up as a way of ministering to military families, but Four Winds is going to step out and lead by example. We would love for other pastors around the country to get involved and do this in their communities."

"I believe this is God inspired and is a call to action to help connect loved ones. There's no better way to convey one's love at a distance than on camera, and we look forward to helping military families do this during the holidays on Sunday after church services at the Shrine Auditorium."
