Debra A. Grandy, MBA, Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Debra A. Grandy served as a laboratory technician for the U.S. Navy

RICHARDSON, TX, November 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Debra A. Grandy, Business Development Manager for BestCare Laboratory Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in health care.

With 13 years of experience in her field, Ms. Grandy served as the business development manager for BestCare Laboratory Services for the past two years. She demonstrates an expertise in laboratory and client services. In her position, she is responsible for overseeing all accounts for the company, communicating with clients, generating new clients, conducting presentations and drafting contracts.

Previously, Ms. Grandy worked as a laboratory technician for U.S. Navy. She has also served as a hospital corpsman, performing nursing duties for six years. During this time, she began to develop an interest in the business side of the health care field. After leaving the Navy, with an honorable discharge, she pursued her professional passion.

In 2010, Ms. Grandy received a Master of Business Administration in health care management from Dallas Baptist University. Prior to this, she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in health care management, from Intercontinental University. A registered medical laboratory technician with the ASCP, she is affiliated with the American College of Health Care Executives and the Health Care Financial Management Association. Ms. Grandy is also a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society. In the future, she aspires to complete a JD and a Ph.D in public policy.
