Mr. Mayo has over 35 years of professional experience. In his current role, he is responsible for teaching and developing leadership skills and provides business consulting services. He previously served as a Vice President for Caterpillar, Inc, a Fortune 500 global company. He also served as an officer in the United States Navy.

Mr. Mayo has vast experience in marketing, sales, product support, dealer administration, and distribution development within the heavy equipment and diesel & gas engine industries. He is an active public speaker, published author and member of the International Speakers Network, presenting on various leadership and business topics around the country.

In 1974, Mr. Mayo received his Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the United Sates Naval Academy. He also completed an executive education program at Dartmouth College, Tuck Business School. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for FCA Packaging, LLC and Hy-Drive Technologies, Ltd. He serves on the Board of Advisors for H.O. Penn Machinery Company and EcoThermics Corporation.
