Roy N. Johnston Honored for Accomplishments in Law Enforcement
Roy N. Johnston investigates crime scenes, patrols an area of 90 square miles, and coordinates with his partner

OROVILLE, CA, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roy N. Johnston, Volunteer Patrolman and Captain for the Butte County Sheriff's Office, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in law enforcement.

In 1994, Mr. Johnston retired from the field of air traffic control. He served in the military for four years as a second-class air traffic control specialist. Today, he works for the Butte County Sheriff's Office as a volunteer patrolman. Coordinating with a partner, he operates one of four substations and patrols a designated area of 90 square miles. Mr. Johnston is also a certified crime scene investigator; he assists deputies in investigations and report writing.

Attributing his success to his continued education, he has worked in his field for 16 years. He is active with his local Moose International lodge.
