Rachel Gouge Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Rachel Gouge credits her success as an excellent clinical nurse to her Air Force education
JOHNSON CITY, TN, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rachel Gouge, Registered Nurse at Mountain States Health Alliance, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
Ms. Gouge has seven years of overall professional experience. As a registered nurse, she is responsible for administering patient care in the areas of labor and postpartum, maintaining patient safety, preparing for surgeries, dispensing medication and intravenous drips, and precepting. She also sits on the Committee for Couplet Care. Prior to her current position, she served in the United States Air Force as a captain at Langley Air Force Base, where she practiced obstetrics.
In 2005, Ms. Gouge became a registered nurse. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2000, from East Tennessee State University. She is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. She is a recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal.
