Natalia R. Mercedes-Williams Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Natalia R. Mercedes-Williams received the Iraqi Campaign Medal for the Global War on Terrorism
CHESTER, VA, October 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Natalia R. Mercedes-Williams, a Logistics Officer with the United States Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense services.
Ms. Mercedes-Williams migrated to the United States in 1995 from the Dominican Republic. She has served as an Army Officer for seven years. She became involved in her profession because of her family's encouragement and determination to succeed in life. She has been deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom twice. As a Logistical Officer she was responsible for managing, planning, and overseeing the distribution of the logistical process of the Supply and Services Section from 2004-2010. She attributes her success to hard work and striving to become a role model for others to emulate.
Ms. Mercedes-Williams received a Master's Degree in International Relations in 2008 from the American Military University. She has attained three Army Commendation Medals, a Combat Action Badge, and an Iraqi Campaign Medal for the Global War on Terrorism, among other awards. In the approaching years, Ms. Mercedes-Williams intends to complete a Ph.D. in Organizational Management, teach International Relations, Military History or Military Science online, work at the United Nations, NATO or as a U.S. ambassador.
