Harold R. Parker Honored for Accomplishments in the Military
Harold R. Parker retired from the United States Navy after 30 years of service
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, October 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Harold R. Parker, Command Master Chief (Retired) for the United States Navy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense services.
Currently retired, Mr. Parker served the United States Navy for 30 years. He retired as a command master chief, specializing in resource management and medical administration. In his position, he was responsible for overseeing all pertinent information for personnel, including schedules, liberty plans, non-judicial punishment, recommendations, awards and recognition. In addition, he assisted single enlisted people in finding housing for two bases.
Mr. Parker received his Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy University in 2004. For 18 years, he served as a hospital corpsman, as well as a medical officer on ships. He felt this career path would allow him to further his medical education while earning a sufficient income. A member of The American Legion, he volunteers for various charitable organizations and attributes his success to the support he receives from his parents. In the future, he intends to pursue a doctorate degree.
