Chef Robert T. Cillizza Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Chef Robert T. Cillizza celebrates 16 years in the field of culinary arts

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, October 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chef Robert T. Cillizza, Executive Master Chef for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in culinary arts.

At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Chef Cillizza oversees 20 cooks and three sous-chefs, and develops menus for banquets, special events and cruise ship restaurants. He is also responsible for managing quality control for seafood fare with an Italian infusion. Proud of his cuisine, which includes crab cakes and seafood soup, Chef Cillizza will soon be making a television appearance; he will introduce his cuisine on channel 14 to the Norfolk, Virginia area.

Formerly, he spent 28 years in the United States Marine Corps. He has been honored with a Silver Star, a Bronze Star with Combat "V," and two Purple Hearts with two tours in combat in Vietnam and Iraq.

Chef Cillizza graduated with honors from The Culinary Institute of America, where he received a Culinary Arts Degree. With 16 years of field experience, he attributes his success to his determination, discipline and work ethic. In the future, he hopes to become a corporate chef, travel and inspire other chefs.
