As Superintendent of the Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County he has displayed the dedication and diligence necessary to be among the best.

The Veterans Assistance Commission is a non profit organization which provides a wide array of services to military veterans. Among the services available are transportation and utility assistance as well as providing assistance to those who are indigent.

Richard is a member of the American Legion, VFW, Italian American Vets, Chicago Marine Police, Marine Corps League and the Navy League.
