Patricia M. Jones Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Patricia M. Jones lends 55 years of professional experience to the American Legion Auxiliary as Department President

SWANTON, VT, April 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Patricia M. Jones, President of the Department of Vermont of the American Legion Auxiliary, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in veterans' services.

Prompted to become involved with the American Legion Auxiliary by her husband, a Korean War veteran, Ms. Jones has been the State of Vermont's American Legion Auxiliary president for the year 2009-2010. She specializes in administration leadership development for the organization. She is responsible for ensuring that Auxiliary programs are implemented for the benefit of veterans, children and youth and community. She makes sure that essay and oratorical contests for school scholarships and all reports are done by each unit, to be reported to the National Auxiliary, which in turn reports to Congress. Ms Jones is a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

A life member of the Patrons of Husbandry, Ms. Jones received an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from Champlain College. She has had a successful career and is retired from the Fletcher Allen Hospital in Vermont, as a Unit Secretary and a Certified Nurse's Aid in the hospital's operating room and recovery room. She also had a small successful chocolate making business.

Ms. Jones is currently in line to become a National Executive Committee Women for the Department of Vermont American Legion Auxiliary and is looking forward to possibly becoming Eastern Division National President for the year 2011-2012.
