Calma L. Miller Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Calma L. Miller has devoted most of her career to the Marine Corps

ANDERSONVILLE, TN, December 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Calma L. Miller, Staff Sergeant (Retired) United States Marine Corps, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in office administration.

With 14 years of professional experience, Ms. Miller is best noted for her skills in Files and Directives. She has devoted most of her career to the Marine Corps, where she was tasked primarily with providing administrative support. Her responsibilities include liaising between headquarters and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. Her service at Marine Security Guard Battalion included working as a company clerk and administrative clerk for the OIC and MSG School. The school is responsible for training embassy guards. Continuing, she worked as a Test Administrator for the Military Entrance Processing Center in Shreveport, LA and administered the ASVAB test at local high schools. Ms. Miller was transferred to New Orleans where she worked in Files and Directives during the Gulf War.

She considers attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant to be her greatest professional accomplishment to date. A single mother of two, she is proud to have relied only on herself to get to where she is today. She attributes her success to her values, her self-confidence, and the motivation that she receives from her colleagues.

A cum laude graduate of Roane State Community College, Ms. Miller received her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Office Administration (Information Technology) in 1988. She is a member of Disabled American Veterans and is a former president of Collegiate Secretaries International. Ms. Miller looks forward to continuing her education. With hopes of a degree in Project Management, she wants to build a travel agency from scratch.
