RESTON, VA, November 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark W. Merritt, Intelligence Professional and Navy Intelligence Officer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military and national defense.
With 24 years of professional experience, Mr. Merritt attributes his success to his focused nature and dedication to duty. As a well seasoned Intelligence officer, he manages the supply of actionable intelligence to Special Operations forces as well as intelligence preparation for HUMINT and Counter Terrorism/Counter Insurgency operations.
Additionally, he is an accomplished writer, having been published once in 1989 and twice in 2006. Mr. Merritt has also earned a Second Degree Black Belt in Korean Tae Kwon Do.
Mr. Merritt received his Master's Degree in Human Development in 1984 from St. Lawrence University, his Bachelor of Arts in European History in 1981 from SUNY College at Oneonta and his Associate of Applied Science in 1979 from SUNY Delhi. Additionally, he holds an international license in paragliding and is a member of the National Military Intelligence Association, Naval Intelligence Professionals and the Association for Intelligence Officers.
