Having accrued 25 years of professional experience, including four years in his current position, Sergeant Major Diggs is adept in leadership, mentoring and administration. His daily duties include the leading, mentoring and supervision of subordinate Marines and overseeing their well being. He is also the primary planner and executor of all unit military ceremonies.

Sergeant Major Diggs attributes his success to hard work, ambition and self discipline. He chose to pursue a career in the Marine Corps because he wanted to see the world. Earning the rank of Sergeant Major is a professional highlight in his career and an achievement that very few ever achieve. Throughout his career, he also earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Management and Technology and has been a Certified Professional Trainer since 2000.

Sergeant Major Diggs is a Certified Tax Preparer and prepares tax returns for people during tax season. He enjoys running marathons, watching and playing sports as well as coaching kids and adults in sports and adults in running marathons.

Sergeant Major Diggs is a member of the Drill Instructor's Association, National Honor Society, Noncommissioned Officers Association and the Federated Tax Preparer's Association. He serves as a mentor with the Drug Education for the Youth (DEFY) and does various volunteer activities. In the next five years, he plans to retire from active duty and provide counseling and mentoring to youths on a full-time basis.
