Master Sgt. Lisa R. Harelson demonstrates 13 years of dedication to the United States Air Force

GREAT FALLS, MT, October 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Master Sgt. Lisa R. Harelson, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, Maternal Child Flight Medic and Functional Manager of the Pediatric and Gynecology Clinic with the United States Air Force, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of her career.

Master Sgt. Lisa R. Harelson possesses 13 years of experience with the United States Air Force. Specializing in hemodialysis, pediatrics, women's healthcare, aeromedical evacuation, air ambulatory service and oncology, Sgt. Harelson manages three clinics, supervises staff, manages and budgets resources, maintains supplies and acts as a liaison between civilians and the military. Her additional responsibilities include ensuring quality improvement, performing duties as treasurer of the Medical Booster Club, interacting with members and non-members and instructing on self-aid buddy care and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Currently in the military, Sgt. Harelson has been involved with several missions supporting the war in Iraq and the Kosovo campaign. In Iraq, she provided medical care and security in the emergency department of a military trauma hospital.

Attributing her success to her supportive mentors and family members, Sgt. Harelson aspires to further her education and become a first sergeant for one of the squadrons as she moves forward in her career. Sgt. Harelson is a certified emergency medical technician and a certified medical administrative specialist. In her free time, she contributes to her local community organizations.
