LTC James S. Aranyi Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
LTC Aranyi has been deployed to South West Asia three times since the September 11th attacks
MARIETTA, GA, October 13, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- U.S. Army LTC James S. Aranyi has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military affairs.
LTC James S. Aranyi currently serves as the Chief of Staff G6 for Communications for the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, where he is responsible for overseeing communicatons for the northeast region of the United States, which includes 12,000 soldiers in 13 states. During his 24 years with the U.S. Army he has lived nine years overseas to include assignments in Germany, Korea, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq. LTC Aranyi joined the Army because he felt it would be a good learning experience and a chance to see the world. He attributes his success to the great Soldiers and Officers with whom he has had the honor to serve.
LTC Aranyi is pursuing a Master's Degree in Leadership and Business Ethics at Duquesne University. He is currently attending the United States Army War College for Strategic Leadership. He also has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Akron. He is a member of the Reserve Army Officers Association and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. In the future, upon his retirement from the military, he plans to continue his volunteer work with the Veterans Affairs Hospital and teach history or politics at a university.
