Kevin Mitchell Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Kevin Mitchell is the recipient of Northrop Grumman's Chairman's Award for Excellence.

VALENCIA, CA, October 8, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin Mitchell, Production Operations Director of Northrop Grumman, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in product vision, strategy and execution.

Kevin Mitchell has been lending his experience to the field of aviation for more than 20 years in both Military and Commercial operations. Currently as Production Operations Director of Northrop Grumman, he manages special projects such as the B2 bomber jets and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter for the military, oversees production operations for more than seven programs, and manages hundreds of millions of dollars in quality, scheduling, costs and capital expenditures.

He received his Master of Business Administration in Global Management and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2001 and 1998 respectively. He holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and is a member of the National Black MBA Association and the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce. In recognition of his work, Northrop Grumman presented him with the Chairman's Award for Excellence. He is also the two-time recipient of the President's Award for Significant Contribution.

Outside of work, Mr. Mitchell sits on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and volunteers with the United Service Organization, the March of Dimes Foundation and The Painted Turtle.
