Valerie L. Border has been in the military for nearly 30 years

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY, August 5, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Col. Valerie L. Border, Deputy Chief of Staff for the United States Army Recruiting Command, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military service.

With 28 years of experience in her field, Col. Border excels in human resource management. As the Deputy Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, she was responsible for leadership in staff management and recruiting operations for the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. She attributes her success to her faith and to the support she receives from her family and colleagues.

Ms. Border received her Master's Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University and her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Clarion University. She is a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, the Association of the United States Army and the Reserve Officers Association. She plans to retire from the Army accessions field and work with a government organization in the human resource arena.
