Tracy Joe Dice Honored for Excellence in Defense Training
Tracy Joe Dice Served in Iraq as a Member of the U.S. Army's Bomb Squad

RAEFORD, NC, August 26, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ --Tracy Joe Dice, Mobile Training Cadre & Contractor for Eagan, McAllister Associates, Inc. and SAIC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in defense training.

A former soldier and police officer, Ms. Dice is part of the mobile training cadre for EMA/SAIC, a private defense contracting company that develops products and applied technologies that aid in anti-terrorism and homeland security efforts. In her current position since 2008, she travels across the country to train marines and soldiers in Improvised Explosive Device Defeat (IEDD). Ms. Dice also serves in the North Carolina National Guard.

Ms. Dice began her career with the police department of Rushville, IN, where she was the first female officer and the first female canine officer. She joined the U.S. Army at the age of 34 and served in Iraq as a member of the bomb squad. While stationed in Rabia, she was a victim of an explosion which killed an Iraqi Army Colonel and later on in her tour she was able to talk an Iraqi bomb squad officer into driving a semi-tractor trailer full of explosives to where she needed it to go. Recognized with a Combat Action Badge and a Bronze Star during her time in the Middle East, Ms. Dice attributes her success to her work ethic and discipline.

In addition to industry-related training, Ms. Dice received an Associate's Degree in Graphic Arts in 1991 from G. Rogers Art College, from which she graduated with honors. Away from work, she volunteers with her local women's shelter, Relay For Life, and Disabled American Veterans. Ms. Dice plans to continue working as a contractor and eventually return to school to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
