Daryl G. Boden Honored for Accomplishments in Education
Cambridge Who's Who names Daryl G. Boden innovative professor in astrodynamics
ANNAPOLIS, MD, June 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daryl G. Boden, a professor at the United States Naval Academy, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
With 20 years of experience as an educator, Professor Boden specializes in teaching astrodynamics. On a daily basis, he is responsible for teaching aerospace engineering, coordinating with an international group of engineering educators and serving as a member of the Admissions Committee. Professor Boden served in the United States Air Force for 20 years as an engineer and taught at the U.S. Air Force Academy for 10 years. At the U.S. Naval Academy, he teaches two classes in the spring and two classes in the fall and is also the senior advisor for aerospace engineering. He attributes his success to hard work, his passion for teaching and to being at the right place at the right time.
Professor Boden received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1986, his Master's Degree in Astronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1980 and his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1973. He is a member of the American Astronautical Society, the American Society for Engineering Education and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
