Omaha, NE, March 6, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William David Shatka, Employment Coordinator and Division Officer at the Veterans Benefits Administration of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence in all aspects of veterans' services.

With three years of experience as both an employment coordinator and division officer at the Veterans Benefits Administration of the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, Mr. Shatka is responsible for providing vocational rehabilitation services to veterans throughout the entire state of Nebraska. These services help Nebraska's veterans achieve employment by providing individualized training programs, internships, and direct job placement. Mr. Shatka believes it is more important than ever for veterans to be able to make a smooth career transition from military to civilian life. His service as a senior medical department representative to the United States Marines inspired him to continue contributing to America's military. He attributes his success to his military experience, the strong work ethic instilled in him by his parents, and his personal motivation and vision.

Mr. Shatka received a dual Master's degree in Management and Leadership and Human Resources Development from Webster University in 2005. He is a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. In his spare time, he supports multiple charitable organizations and is pursuing a doctorate in education. Mr. Shatka intends to continue serving America's veterans and hopes to obtain a directorial position.
