Richard Sibert Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Civil Community Relations
Disabled Veteran and Commander of The American Legion Post 639 in Claysville, Pennsylvania

CLAYSVILLE, PA, December 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Sibert, Commander of The American Legion Post 639 in Claysville, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of civil community relations.

A community relations specialist with The American Legion, Mr. Sibert is a proud civil servant and disabled veteran. At his current post, he is responsible for preparing paperwork, overseeing repayments, responding to communications, and assisting the financial officer. He notes that he became involved in his profession due to his military background as well as an innate desire to help others. A decorated award-winner, Mr. Sibert was honored with the Freedom Award from the U.S. Army in 2008, the Commander of the Year Award in 2007 and the Adjutant of the Year in 2005. He was included in Who's Who Among Students in Colleges and Universities in 1994.

The support Mr. Sibert receives from his colleagues is the key to his success. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Secondary Education from Waynesburg College in 1996. He is a member of the board of directors of the Claysville Community Park and an associate member of the Washington County Marine Corp League. Mr. Sibert avidly supports McGuffey Park, Disabled American Veterans, AMVETS, the Claysville Community Center, East Finley Township Park and the One Room School Committee.
