Ms. Duncan has 12 years of professional experience in the nursing field where she specializes in perioperative care. At her current post, she is responsible for administering postoperative cardiac and thoracic care, recovery room and reserve army nursing, overseeing the cardiac and surgical units, and caring for patients in the post-anesthetic stage of recovery. Ms. Duncan was honored with the Deaconess Nurse of the Year Award in 2005 and the Heart of Life Tribute Award in 2004 by the Evansville Chapter of the American Heart Association. Her desire to help people prompted her to become involved in her profession and considers hard work, dedication and her loving nature to be the keys to her success.

A graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Ms. Duncan is pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Education and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Henderson Community College in 1994 and aspires to teach at a collegiate level in the future.
