FORT BENNING, GA, October 9, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Captain Ruben Ramos, Executive Officer for Alpha Battery 1st Battalion of the 10th Field Artillery Regiment of the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of operations management.

With more than seven years of professional experience, Captain Ramos is responsible for operations management, overseeing artillery and infantry operations, involving in fire support operations, managing accounts and formulating and executing logistical plans. In addition, he provides command guidance and policy on logistical matters for mobilization and integration. After the catastrophic event on September 11th 2001, he developed a passion to serve the nation, which prompted him to become involved in his profession.

In 2005, Captain Ramos earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Universidad Adventista De Las Antillas. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was also honored with the Iraq Service Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon for his excellent service. Captain Ramos attributes his success to the support he receives from his mentors. In the future, he aspires to attain the rank of a major.
