/Military and Defense News Articles/ - Reno, NV, August 31, 2008, Priscilla E. Garrison, Radiation Therapist for Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of radiation therapy.

With a specialization in radiation therapy and magnetic resonance imaging, Ms. Garrison is primarily responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients through linear accelerators, maintaining patient records and assisting medical radiation physicists and dosimetrists. She became involved in her profession because of her family background and attributes her success to her personal drive. Ms. Garrison served the United States Navy for six years, during which time she received the Good Conduct Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Expert Rifle Medal and twice received the Navy Achievement Medal.

Ms. Garrison graduated cum laude from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences in 2006. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and founding chapter president of Omicron Delta Kappa. She hopes to continue in the same profession in the future.
