With an impressive background of more than 37 years of experience in law enforcement, Mr. Brewer excels in public administration and is responsible for ensuring airport security, preparing paperwork and overseeing operations. Prior to joining the Melbourne Airport Police Department, he served as a law enforcement specialist in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He became involved in his profession because of his military experience and attributes his success to the support he received from his mother.

Mr. Brewer is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, three Air Force Accomendation Medals, five Good Conduct Ribbons and two National Defense Service Medals. He received his Master's Degree in Public Administration from Webster University in 2008 and is a member of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, the Brevard County Police Chiefs Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Also a volunteer for the American Legion and American Veterans, he aspires to be a role model to others in the future.
