/Military and Defense News Articles/ - New London, CT, July 27, 2008, Daniel Sporer, Military Officer in the United States Coast Guard has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication and excellence in all aspects of military leadership.

With more than eight years of professional experience, Mr. Sporer excels in managing ship operations and marine navigation. He is also responsible for finance management and recruiting people for the United States Coast Guard Academy. Mr. Sporer considers being a part of a management team in charge of $30 million worth of machinery and 50 people to be his greatest professional accomplishment. He attributes his success to his hard work and his faith in God. He hopes to work in the financial services industry in the future.

Mr. Sporer earned his Bachelor's Degree in Management from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2004. He received his certification in financial planning from Boston University in 2008. Currently, he is working on his Master of Science in Financial Services. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity International. Mr. Sporer is the vice president of the board of a local condominium association, where he oversees several million dollars in budgets and capital assets. Mr. Sporer is currently doing an internship with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC. He stays current with the trends in his profession by attending seminars and training programs, reading industry-related publications, enrolling in continuing education courses and networking with other professionals.
