/Military and Defense News Articles/ - CAMP PARKS, CA, April 15, 2007 - As a volunteer and co-chairwoman for the Stockton based Good Shepherd Family Ministry, Catherine Pauley caters to mentally disabled adults in the Central Valley by providing fellowship, worship services, arts and crafts activities, and an annual eight day retreat. As an army reservist assigned to the Camp Parks based 91st Division (TS), Staff Sgt. Catherine Pauley is the senior enlisted member of the division's public affairs office.

"The love these "kids" have for life, their "teachers" and each other fills me up every week with that spark I need," said Pauley. We have everyone from Downs's syndrome to cerebral palsy to mental retardation to the "clover" head syndrome and their ages range from 21 to 76." Pauley also said that the majority of their attendees come from Lodi, Stockton and Manteca but there are some who come from as far as Modesto and Fresno too.
